Moving to a new area can be intimidating. One question we’ve had a lot on our Facebook group page – where can I find like-minded people? Politically, ideology, ethically, etc. One way to help narrow the search – look at the Voter Registration records. This may give some insight whether the county you are interested in matches what you are looking for.
You may also want to research other groups in the area. One thing we were concerned about was the amount of diversity for our mixed race family. We were lucky to find a great area with so many people from all over the world. Our children have experienced getting to know so many cultures, languages and beliefs that would never have happened in our former home.
