The Orlando & Northwestern Railway (The Royal Palm Railway Experience) is proud to announce the arrival of THE WIZARD OF OZ™ Train Ride June 8 through June 24, 2018!
Licensed by the same team that brought you THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride, this magical journey will retell the story of the beloved film on board a real train at select heritage railroads across the United States.
Guests will board the train with DOROTHY™ and her special friends as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road. Help them defeat the WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST™ before arriving at the Emerald City and experiencing the thrill of meeting THE GREAT AND POWERFUL OZ™ himself during a live stage show!
The train ride will begin in Tavares Fl., just northwest of Orlando, with the boarding location Wooten Park. The show begins in Munchkinland where you will meet the beloved characters in this classic story. You will then board The Emerald City Special and travel to the Emerald City as the adventure of this classic tale unfolds.
The entire experience will last approximately two (2) hours.
Check-in will begin one and a half hours before the scheduled show time. You need to plan on checking in no later than thirty (30) minutes prior to show time.
Restrooms will be available onboard the train as well as The Emerald City.
All parking is located at the Lake County Parking Garage located at 200 N Sinclair Ave, Tavares, FL 32778 (Parking is Free)
Child’s ticket is for ages 2 to 12 years old. Under 2 is considered a lap child and will not sit in a seat.
