Tampa has so much to offer residents and visitors alike.  There’s theme parks, water parks, great dining and close to the beast.  But what you might not have know is that Tampa has some amazing animal encounters that we feel everyone should experience.     Here is our list of the Top 3 Animal Encounters in Tampa.  Take a read and let us know what should be on our “must do” list in Tampa!

  1. The Florida Aquarium

  1. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo

Named #1 in the USA for Kids by Parents and Child Magazines, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo always promises to be a fun filled day.  Open daily from 9:30am-5pm, Lowry Park Zoo is a great place to spend the day.  A favorite at Lowry Park Zoo is the interaction with the wildlife.  Stand on a feeding plateau and come eye to eye with a giraffe.  For just a few dollars, you can even feed the giraffes.   Other encounters include Lorikeet Landing, Stingray Bay, Wallaroo Station and The Harrell Discovery Center.   With  more than 1,000 animal, house on 56 acres of lush habitat, you Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo is a great experience.  For more information about Lowry Park Zoo click here.
