Let’s be honest with each other for a quick second. Is there anything, any place or any experience better for a Disney fan than walking right down the middle of Main Street USA in Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom? Thing about it! The smells, the sounds, the sights, and the Magic! Honestly, nothing quite beats it for me.
I love the glimpses of the past that some guests just walk right by. One of the great items to go unnoticed is the Cigar Store Indian that stands watch on Main Street. Did you know that he once stood in front of a Main Street storefront called Tobacconist, before the store closed in 1971?
With this picture I wanted to tell the story of the Statue watching over the guests in the park as the stoll on by without care or notice. To do this I used a 24-70 2.8 lens so I could have super shallow depth of field. This made it so the Statue was completely in focus yet the people who are passing by are blurred and in the background
