It’s official! On Sunday, 20th April 2014, Disney’s Mega Stars Anna and Elsa from Disney’s FROZEN made their official debut at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom in the Princess Fairytale Hall.
Anna and Elsa will make appearances together each day until early evening, at which point guests will be able to have a meet and greet with other Disney Princesses. Cinderella and Rapunzel will continue to make an appearance at Fairytale Princess Hall as well.
Being the Disney Dad that I am, I decided to surprise my daughter, Jayla, with this meet and greet as part as part of her Easter present and I was lucky enough to secure 2 FP+ a few weeks ago. It was truly a magical moment when Jayla placed her Magic Band up to the sensor and it turned green. She was truly surprised and it was definitely a Disney Magic moment.
One thing I noticed when we entered for this meet and greet was the standby entrance line. The standby wait time when we entered at 1:20pm was 240 minutes. As of this morning, 21st April 2014, the wait time to meet Anna and Elsa was already 120 minutes at 8:06am. Dave Drumheller, of WDW Guided Tours, posted this picture this morning after watching families sprint down Main Street to get in line.
For those families that are unable to secure a FP+, remember you can also see Anna and Elsa, along with all of the Disney Princesses, during the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
During our visit with Anna and Elsa, we also had the pleasure of meeting Jasmine. I have to say, I was honestly scared that Jayla would lose the excitement to see her after seeing Anna and Else, but that was not the case. Meeting Jasmine was a treat for both of us and she admired the large jewel that the Easter Bunny brought Jayla.
All in all, it was wonderful meet and greet and a magical surprise for Jayla.
