It’s the first day of SPRING! I know not everyone is out of the cold temps and snow yet, but we are on the downward slide and soon we will all be planting in our flower beds.
Yesterday I shared on Facebook this picture of this retro chair outfitted with a garden hose for the seat. I have to say I was quit fascinated with this chair. I haven’t sat in it yet to test it’s comfort, but that’s on my to do list next time I’m the Flower and Garden Festival. This is definitely a creative DIY project I’ve taken note of.

Another item that caught my eye was this fantastic bird house made out of an old roller skate and some wood, or as I like to call it a Bird RV. Ok, I guess before Bird RV, Little Old Lady Who Lives In A Show came to mind. But seriously, wouldn’t this look great in a colorful flowerbed. This too is now on my “I Want to Make This” list.

Will I ever make these? Who knows. But then again I wasn’t sure I’d ever take the Florida Plunge and as we all know, I did!
